US$19,500 Airplane, Davis DA-2A project, completed 85% in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec for sale

The Davis is a fun, reliable, and economic airplane that can carry two adults and either a child, or baggage. My father started the construction of this Davis in the '70. As he was a perfectionist, he made most of the parts two or 3 times, keeping the best to put on the Davis... So it is extremely well made. Unfortunately, he never completed it, having health issues. It has always been stored in a dry, protected site, some parts in my basement. All the metal work is done, to my knowledge, though I am still looking to find the "hood" (the part going over the engine...). The wings are completed and folding according to Mr Davis approval and plans.The engine is a Continental 0-200-A bought in March 1990, entirely reconditioned by Aero Atelier C.M. Inc., upgraded with some nickel parts. It was always kept in the house. I think I have most of the aeronics, but my knowledge about aircraft is limited. We can send images upon request.
